Bisson Yard Management Services

Bisson Transportation operates a 24/7 spotting service or "Yard Service" at three of the major paper mills in Maine. This service involves:

  • Inspecting trailers
  • Relocating trailers from trailer pools to loading docks
  • Moving loaded trailers to the ready-to-haul yard
  • Keeping the numerous carriers and our customer's management aware of trailer availability and inventory
  • Onsite clerical services such as processing the Bill of Ladens to the driver, this eases work for the Shippers and lowers costs for the companies.

To compliment the Yard Services, Bisson Transportation also provides on-site trailer repair at these locations.
